One dead, one injured in KC shooting

A 23-year-old man was killed and a second man injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in Kansas City.

Police were dispatched about 2 a.m. after a report of a shooting in the 7200 block of East 88th Terrace. They found Dominique C. Johnson dead from an apparent gunshot wound and located a second man who had sustained a minor gunshot injury.

Information received by police suggested that the shooting stemmed from a disturbance at the location.
