Suspect charged in KC business burglaries

Jackson County prosecutors on Friday charged a suspect in a series of south Kansas City business break-ins.

The suspect, 32-year-old Kevin L. Lund, is not in custody. Police are asking the public for information about his whereabouts.

Prosecutors said that Lund is charged with three counts of second-degree burglary and three counts of stealing.

According to court documents, Kansas City police detectives recognized Lund from surveillance video at the scene of convenience store burglaries.
