Teen boy shot in Grandview shortly before 3 a.m. Monday

A 16-year-old boy was taken to a hospital after he was shot early Monday in Grandview.

Police received a 911 call about 2:50 a.m. Monday reporting there was a shooting in the 6200 block of E. 129th Street.

When officers and fire department personnel arrived, they found the victim. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Grandview detectives are investigating the shooting and ask anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
