Kansas City police investigate afternoon homicide at park

Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead at Seven Oaks Park in Kansas City this afternoon.

At about 1 p.m. officers were dispatched to the park in the 3800 block of Kensington on an ambulance call.

Upon arrival at the park, officers say they found an unresponsive adult male who was declared dead by the Kansas City Fire Department.

A cause of death has not been determined, but police said evidence at the scene “indicated the male is not deceased from natural causes.”
