KCK escapee surrenders to probation officer
A man who escaped from Kansas City, Kan., police last week turned himself in to his probation officer Monday in Kansas City, police said.
Ted W. Taylor, 29, escaped Tuesday after Kansas City, Kan., police checked him out of the jail to talk to him about an investigation.
He had been jailed on charges of criminal discharge of a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Now he also faces a charge of escape from custody.
Police did not say how he escaped.
