Seven arrests made during DUI checkpoint in Kansas City
Kansas City police made seven arrests for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a sobriety checkpoint late Friday and early Saturday.
Officers set up at Truman Road and U.S. Highway 71 stopped 249 drivers between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., according to a police statement. Police also cited two people for driving with suspended or revoked licenses. Eleven others were cited for moving or traffic violations.
