Overland Park police said that flares were fired at several homes Thursday night.

A fire was ignited by one flare, but was quickly extinguished by firefighters.

Police said they were called just before 10 p.m. Thursday to the 10200 block of West 81st Terrace on a report that shots had been fired into several apartments.

No one was injured, and police said that projectiles that hit the homes were fired from a flare gun.

Officials released surveillance camera images of two people they want to talk to about the incident.
