Homicide suspect arrested after a police chase that crossed the state line
A homicide suspect wanted by Kansas City, Kan., police was arrested in North Kansas City on Thursday night after a police pursuit that ended in a crash.
Three men in the suspect vehicle were apprehended after a search on foot. One of those was the driver, who was the homicide suspect.
The incident began when Kansas City, Kan., police attempted to stop a vehicle at 45th Street and Shawnee Drive because one of the people inside fit the description of a homicide suspect. The chase crossed the state line and ended when the suspect vehicle crashed at the 16th Street exit from Interstate 35 in North Kansas City.
