Kansas City, Kan., police were looking for three suspects in connection with a fatal shooting on Sunday at a gas station in the 6000 block of Parallel Parkway.

The victim, a man in his early 20s who was not identified, was dead at the scene in a car parked next to gas pumps. A passenger in the car was not seriously harmed.

Police received a report around 1:45 p.m. that shots had been fired. Two suspects ran from the scene after the shooting. Police were looking for them and the driver of a gold Chevy sport-utility vehicle that dropped them off at the filling station prior to the shooting.

The vehicle had heavy damage to the front end and passenger side.
