Leavenworth man gets 76-month sentence in robberies
A Leavenworth man who robbed two men earlier this year received a 76-month prison sentence Wednesday, prosecutors there said.
Michael Crump-Fitzpatrick, 22, took $1,300 in cash from a man on March 21, said Todd Thompson, Leavenworth County attorney.
In the second robbery, Crump-Fitzpatrick used a friend’s phone to order a Dominos pizza delivered. When the driver arrived in the 900 block of Cherokee Street, Crump-Fitzpatrick approached, pointed a gun at him and demanded his money, wallet and cell phone.
Crump-Fitzpatrick fled, but the driver followed him and jotted down the license plate of the getaway car.
