Lenexa teen charged in school bus knife incident
Prosecutors accused a Lenexa high school student Thursday of brandishing a knife on a school bus.
No one was injured in the Wednesday afternoon incident on a bus carrying students from Shawnee Mission West High School, according to Lenexa police.
The student, Andreas F. Rodriguez, 18, was charged in Johnson County District Court with aggravated assault.
According to police, Rodriguez showed the knife to other students and made threatening comments after a verbal argument on the bus.
