Independence man charged with child molestation

A 62-year-old Independence man was arraigned Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of first-degree child molestation. Walter J. Tinoco also is charged with first-degree statutory sodomy.

Bond was set at $100,000 cash only.
