FBI seeking vandals who damaged Islamic Society of Greater Kansas City
The FBI said Thursday it is offering a $2,000 reward to help find and convict the suspects who vandalized the Islamic Society of Greater Kansas City in early April.
Two people defaced an exterior wall and spray-painted “hate symbols” on the property in the 8500 block of East 99th Street in southeast Kansas City.
The incident occurred about 1 a.m. April 3, according to the FBI.
The FBI released a surveillance camera image of the people, both dressed in black clothing. They left the area on foot.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI hate crimes hotline at 855-527-2847 or send email to KCPCTIPS@IC.FBI.GOV.
