Olathe woman stole at least $100,000 in jewelry over two-year period, police say
An Olathe woman allegedly stole at least $100,000 in jewelry over a two-year period.
Sabina Garcia-Rivera, 43, allegedly stole the jewelry between October 2015 and December 2017 in Johnson County, according to court records filed in Johnson County District Court.
She was arrested on Friday and released the same day after posting a $5,000 bond. She is under house arrest.
It remains unclear from court records how she allegedly stole the jewelry.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 8 in the felony case.
