Reward offered in Olathe gun store burglary

Federal authorities are offering a $5,000 reward to help find the burglars who broke into an Olathe gun store earlier this month.

Olathe police said that “numerous” firearms were stolen in the April 6 break-in at OMB Guns in the 15700 block of South Keeler Street.

Surveillance video captured two persons in dark clothing entering the business after breaking the glass front door.

The reward is being offered by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Anyone with information is asked to call the ATF at 1-800-283-4867, the Olathe Police Department at 913-971-6950 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
