Woman charged after Lenexa police officer hit by car
A woman is facing multiple charges after she allegedly hit a Lenexa police officer with a car she was driving.
Jacklynn Pryor, 21, of St. Joseph, was charged Wednesday in Johnson County District Court with aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing and eluding, interference with law enforcement and possession of oxycodone.
The incident occurred Tuesday, according to court records. Lenexa police said that the officer was not injured.
Officers were attempting to arrest Pryor for outstanding warrants when she allegedly drove off, striking the officer’s leg.
Pryor was arrested later in Olathe, police said.
Earlier this year, Pryor pleaded guilty and was placed on probation for possession of marijuana, court records show.
A motion to revoke her probation was filed Nov. 3.
Bond for Pryor in the new case is set at $50,000.
