Second KC casino patron in a month robbed of winnings

For the second time this month, an area casino patron has been robbed of casino winnings after returning home.

In both cases, the victims had won a large sum of money at Harrah’s North Kansas City Casino before being robbed, according to Kansas City police.

The first incident occurred April 9. The second robbery was reported a little after 4 a.m. Saturday.

Both robberies occurred outside of residences in Kansas City, North. In Saturday’s robbery, a person with the victim was punched in the face, according to police.

The two suspects fled the scene in a SUV. Detailed descriptions were not immediately available.
