Hit-and-run driver kills pedestrian in middle of eastbound I-670 in KC
A hit-and-run driver struck and killed a female pedestrian crossing or standing in the middle of Interstate 670 in Kansas City’s West Bottoms area.
The fatal crash occurred shortly before midnight Saturday, according to Kansas City police.
The hit-and-run driver struck the pedestrian while she was in the middle lane of eastbound I-670.
Police were unable to find anyone who witnessed the crash. It was unknown whether the woman was standing or crossing the highway.
