Disturbance preceded double shooting at 27th and Quindaro in KCK, police say
A disturbance in the parking lot of a Kansas City, Kan. restaurant preceded a shooting that injured two people Wednesday near 27th Street and Quindaro Boulevard.
According to police, the altercation escalated into a shooting that injured a man and a woman.
The victims drove to at a nearby fire station after they were shot, police said.
Kansas City, Kan., Police Chief Terry Zeigler posted a message on Twitter shortly after 3 p.m. saying police were investigating the shooting.
Both shooting victims were taken to a hospital, according to police. One was reported to be in critical condition while the other had minor injuries. Both were expected to survive.
