Surveillance video shows man stealing cash from Lawrence cash register

The owners of Delaney & Loew Kitchenalia in Lawrence have released surveillance video showing a man stealing money from their cash register last Sunday.

The owners of the store, Bradly and Katie Moore, told 41 Action News, that the man asked an employee to get something for him from the back of the store. When the employee walked away he approached the cash register and took off with $260 in cash.

"[The money] makes our car payment, it buys groceries. This is our livelihood and that is what he needs to know,” Katie Moore told 41 Action News.
