Woman injured in hit and run with a pickup truck in midtown KC
A female pedestrian sustained critical injuries after being struck by a pickup truck early Friday at 39th Street and Broadway.
The woman was struck by a northbound truck. The driver sped away before police arrived, and the woman was taken to a hospital, according to Kansas City police.
Officers later located the vehicle and a person of interest connected to the incident.
