Kansas City man admits driving getaway car in five bank robberies

A 35-year-old man admitted in federal court Thursday to driving a getaway car in five bank robberies in Kansas and Missouri.

Dale Williamson of Kansas City took part in the robberies that occurred over a two-month period between April 24 to May 30 in Raytown, Gladstone, Overland Park and St. Joseph.

Williamson is scheduled to be sentenced July 6 in the U. S. District Court in Kansas City, Kan. Federal prosecutors and Williamson’s attorney have agreed to recommend a sentence of 55 months in federal prison.
