KC man gets 40 years for child porn conviction
A man who was caught printing images of child pornography at the Kansas City Public Library was sentenced Wednesday to 40 years in federal prison without parole.
Donald T. Paris, 28, of Kansas City, was convicted at a trial last month of producing child pornography, receiving and transporting it over the Internet and of possessing child porn.
When he was arrested at the library in December 2010 he admitted that he used his email account and cell phone for child porn. He possessed 169 images and 25 videos. Paris also admitted to repeated sexual abuses and molestations of children as young as three years old over the previous decade.
