Prosecutors have charged Logan Grant Kleen, 28, of Overland Park with raping a 21-year-old co-worker who had been drugged.

Grant was charged in Johnson County District Court with one count of felony rape for allegedly having sex with the victim while she was unable to give consent because of being drugged.

The alleged rape occurred in March 2016 when the woman went out with several co-workers. At the end of the night she fell asleep at Kleen’s home, according to court documents obtained by Fox4 News TV.

The woman told police she woke up with Kleen on top of her, having sex without her consent. She asked him to stop several times, according to Fox 4.

The woman told police she had been drinking that night, but seemed more impaired than normal. Parts of her memory were missing. A lab report showed her blood tested positive for GHB, a “date-rape drug,” according to Fox 4.

Kleen allegedly told police he had been drinking that night and the sex was consensual, according to Fox 4.

Kleen was arrested Wednesday and booked into the Johnson County jail. He was released on $75,000 bond the next day, according to jail records.

Kleen’s next court date is scheduled for Wednesday.
