Mission shop owner charged with selling counterfeit designer merchandise
A 64-year-old woman has been charged with selling counterfeit designer merchandise from her Mission shop.
So Wun Pak, owner of Sue’s Accessories, was arrested Thursday and was charged Saturday with a felony count of selling or possessing counterfeit merchandise worth more than $25,000.
She was also charged with a misdemeanor count of deceptive commercial practices.
The Johnson County District Attorney’s Office said the investigation that led to Pak’s arrest involved the alleged sale of counterfeit designer items like purses, handbags, wallets and jewelry.
Some of the brands listed in Johnson County court documents include Kate Spade, Coach, Burberry, Louis Vuitton and Versace.
