KC man robbed of $6,000 in casino winnings
A Kansas City man’s run of good luck at an area casino ended abruptly Thursday night when two armed men took his nearly $6,000 in winnings at gunpoint.
The man called police just before 6 p.m. Thursday from his residence in the 5700 block of North Drury Avenue to report the robbery.
He told officers that he had just returned home from Harrah’s North Kansas City Casino when he was approached in his driveway by two suspects armed with small-caliber handguns.
They demanded his money and then ran north. Detailed descriptions of the suspects were not available Friday morning.
