Former Johnson County foster parent sentenced for child rape
A former Johnson County foster parent was sentenced to prison Wednesday for sexually assaulting some of the children in his care.
Sean P. Murphy, 48, was sentenced to serve 25 years and 10 months in prison.
Murphy, of Edgerton, was sentenced in Johnson County District Court where he pleaded no contest in June and was found guilty of two counts of rape of a child and one count of sexual exploitation of a child.
