FBI: Armed man wearing black mask made threat before robbing Country Club Bank
Federal investigators were looking for a man suspected of robbing a Kansas City bank Wednesday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Investigation said Country Club Bank was robbed shortly before 2:30 p.m.
The bank, located at 4343 Belleview in Kansas City, is between the Country Club Plaza and Westport.
Authorities said a man in a black mask wearing a black sweatshirt and dark colored pants entered the bank, displayed a weapon and made a verbal threat.
The suspect, authorities said, fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen on foot westbound on 43rd Street.
No injuries were reported in the robbery.
