Teens arrested on the Plaza after vehicles are damaged
Several teens were arrested Saturday night on the Country Club Plaza after they damaged at least three vehicles, police said.
Officers moved in when they saw at least one teen standing on the hood of a car, Kansas City Police Chief Darryl Forté reported in a tweet.
Forté said the teens were arrested “based on behavior and nothing else.”
The chief said that police will continue to patrol and monitor activity on the Plaza to focus on the “disobedient” and ensure everyone’s safety.
