Note about 14-year-old girl’s ‘pimp’ leads to child porn charge against KC man

A 24-year-old Kansas City man is facing a federal child porn charge for allegedly filming a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl.

Anthony A. Turner was charged Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Kansas City with production of child pornography.

A woman called Independence police in July after finding a note in her 14-year-old daughter’s room that discussed the girl’s pimp, according to an affidavit filed Tuesday to support the charges against Turner.

The woman also looked on her daughter’s cell phone and found a video of the girl having sexual contact with an adult, according to the affidavit.

In a follow up interview, the girl said that a pimp was prostituting her out. She said that she met a man she knew as “YNG Cuzz” on Facebook and that he had used his phone to videotape them engaging in sexual contact.

A police detective then used the girl’s phone to set up a meeting with YNG Cuzz. Turner was arrested when he arrived at the girl’s house.

He admitted to filming the sexual encounter, but said he thought the girl was older, according to the allegations.
