The T-shirt says it all for this TV thief, say Lee’s Summit police
Irony, thy name is this guy’s.
The Lee’s Summit Police Department is looking for a man they say stole a large TV from a local retailer wearing a T-shirt that read, “I’m Broke Baby.”
“And yes, we realize his shirt is ironic!” the police wrote on their Facebook page, where they posted a photo of the man on Monday.
The suspect is wearing the T-shirt, a black ball cap and sunglasses.
“If you can identify him, please contact Det. James Treacy at 816-969-1756 or send us a message here on Facebook,” reads the post, which does not say when the incident occurred.
And baby, did people leave messages on the post, which has been shared nearly 500 times.
“Get a job, baby,” says the first.
