15-year-old is identified as Kansas City, Kan., shooting victim

Authorities in Kansas City, Kan., have identified a 15-year-old who was fatally shot Thursday evening as Brandon Browne.

The shooting was reported about 7:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of North Tremont Street. Arriving officers found the teen on the porch of a residence with a gunshot wound to the chest. Brandon was pronounced dead at the scene.
