77-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman critically wounded in drive-by shooting

A 77-year-old Kansas City, Kan., woman sustained life-threatening injuries in a drive-by shooting early Friday.

The incident happened around 4:25 a.m. in the 1500 block of Freeman Avenue. The woman was inside her residence when the shooting occurred.

No other details were immediately available. Police are continuing their investigation.
