Two people shot during argument at large party in Independence
Two people were shot early Sunday after an argument erupted during a large party in Independence.
Police responded to reports of a shooting about 1 a.m. Sunday at the party in the 11300 block of East Highridge Drive, according to police.
Upon arrival, they found two people had been shot. The extent of their injuries was not available.
The shooting remains under investigation and was witnessed by numerous people, police said.
