Man shot and killed at 35th and Askew in Kansas City

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occured late Thursday in Kansas City at 35th and Askew.

When officers responded to a call there about 9:30 p.m., they found a man in the street who had been shot. The man was taken to a hospital and later died, according to Kansas City police.

Police have no suspect information. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
