One person critically injured in shooting Wednesday near Linwood, Prospect in KC

Police were investigating a shooting that critically injured one person Wednesday near Linwood Blvd. and Prospect Avenue.

The shooting was reported shortly after 10:30 p.m.

According to authorities, the victim’s injuries were considered life-threatening.
