Kansas City police investigate after body found in 5100 block of College Avenue

A passerby Friday morning discovered a body along a tree line in the 5100 block of College Avenue.

Kansas City police officers arrived about 9:30 a.m. to investigate. The police department did not release the age or gender of the dead person or the cause of death.

Police asked anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
