Victim in serious condition after shooting on Cleveland Avenue in Kansas City

Police were investigating a shooting that seriously injured a person Tuesday in Kansas City.

The shooting was reported shortly before 10 p.m. in the 4100 block of Cleveland Avenue.

One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police did not release suspect information or a motive for the shooting.
