Man wounded in Kansas City shooting dies at hospital

A Kansas City man wounded in a shooting Monday night has died, police said Thursday.

The victim, 22-year-old Adlet Annelus, was shot about 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 5600 block of Park Avenue. He was taken by private vehicle to a hospital where he died Wednesday, according to Kansas City police.

Witnesses told police that they saw Annelus talking to another young man when that person pulled out a gun and shot him multiple times.

Police said that no suspect is in custody and anyone with information about the killing is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
