Man found fatally shot in KCK home
A homicide investigation is underway Thursday morning after a man was found fatally shot in a Kansas City, Kan., home.
A woman called police about 3:30 a.m. after finding the man dead in a house in the 3200 block of North 66th Street.
The woman discovered the front door open and found the man, in his late 30s, dead from a gunshot wound, according to Officer Amber Hickerson, a spokeswoman for Kansas City, Kan., police.
Several shell casings were discovered around the body.
