KCK police seek sexual assault suspects posing as bondsmen

Two men posing as bail bondsmen sexually assaulted a woman in her home earlier this month, Kansas City, Kan., police said.

The attack occurred on the early evening of March 5 in the 1000 block of Barnett Avenue. One man was armed with a handgun and possibly a stun gun, according to police.

The victim described one attacker as a white man in his 30s with blond hair and blue eyes. He was about 5 feet 4 inches tall and 170 pounds. A tattoo, described as colorful, covered the left side of his neck and extended to his chest. He wore a black shirt with “Bail bonds” written in yellow on the back, and he carried a badge with the word detective on it. He also wore a KU hat.

The second man was black, in his 30s with shoulder-length curly or braided hair. He was about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He wore jeans and a black jacket.

They left the area driving a light blue or gray Chevrolet Suburban or GMC Yukon, police said.
