One person in custody following Northland homicide

A woman found dead inside a Kansas City, North, home Tuesday morning has been identified as 50-year-old Yuvett V. Santamaria.

Kansas City police said a man was taken into custody after they were called to a house in the 5300 block of N.E. 56th Place and discovered Santamaria dead about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Additional details have not been released.
