Man found by wrecked vehicle dies from gunshot wound

Police found a man with a fatal gunshot wound lying beside a wrecked vehicle Sunday night.

The victim, a man in his mid-50s, was shot near the corner of 25th Street and Harrison Avenue around 8:30 p.m. He was rushed to a hospital, where he died a short time later.

Witnesses said the victim had been arguing with a suspect before the shooting.
