KCPD examine possible human remains in east Kansas City

Kansas City police are at the scene of the what may be human remains that were found in the area at Bannister and Norfleet roads.

Officers were summoned to the area about 11 a.m. The Jackson County Medical Examiner was called to the scene to review the discovery.

No other details were immediately available.
