The Olathe Police Department has released photos of a truck suspected to have been used in the theft of a trailer last week. The department has requested the public’s help identifying the truck.

Police described it as an early 1980s beige Ford pickup truck with a dark-colored front fender, hood and driver’s side door.

Just after 4 a.m. June 21, the truck was used to take a trailer from a parking lot in the 300 block of North Rogers Road, police said.

The trailer was described as a single-axle Patriot, 6-foot by 12-foot enclosed cargo trailer with a black and chrome base and no state license plates.

Police have asked anyone with information about the identity of the driver to call the Olathe Police Department at 913-971-6950 or the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
