No one hurt after armed disturbance on 69th Terrace in Shawnee
Police were investigating a disturbance Saturday that ended with one person firing a single gun shot into the ground.
The altercation and shooting was reported about 2:25 p.m. in the 11600 block of 69th Terrace in Shawnee.
An argument between four people preceded the shooting incident, police said.
During the argument one man pulled a handgun from his waistband and fired a shot into the ground.
The man and another person left the area in a car, police said.
No one was struck by the fired round, police said, and no one was in custody Saturday.
