Kansas City Crime Stoppers most wanted fugitives
An Ottawa, Kan., man who allegedly wanted to make a woman and her daughter sex slaves has been charged with attempted sex trafficking of a child.
Michael David Mitchell, 63, also was charged Monday in U.S. District Court in Topeka with attempted coercion and enticement of a child, traveling across state lines with the intent to have sex with a child and six counts of electronic solicitation.
According to federal prosecutors, Mitchell allegedly communicated with an undercover investigator who was posing as the mother of a child.
He allegedly told them he was willing to pay them for being his sex slaves, according to court documents.
“I will take care of you, but it won’t be easy on either of you,” he allegedly said. “I’m a sadist and enjoy inflicting pain. Neither of you will ever be allowed to say no to me.”
He was arrested at a Kansas City hotel where he had made arrangements to meet them.
