Eight arrests made during DUI checkpoint in Kansas City
Kansas City police made eight arrests for driving under the influence of intoxicants late Friday and early Saturday during a sobriety checkpoint.
Officers set up along the 7700 block of Wornall Road and stopped 316 drivers between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., according to a police statement. Police also arrested one person for child endangerment. Others were cited for walking in the street while intoxicated and for other municipal warrant violations.
