Kansas City, Kan. police pull body out of Kansas River
Kansas City, Kan. Police pulled a body out of the Kansas River shortly after 4 p.m. on Friday.
Police Chief Terry Zeigler tweeted that officers were responded to a possible body in the river around 3:40 p.m. Officers used a drone to confirm that the body was not an animal.
“Fire has confirmed it is a body and are bringing it in at Kaw Point,” Zeigler tweeted. “No other details at this point.”
