Former employee accused of theft from KCK Catholic archdiocese
A former employee has been charged with stealing more than $116,000 from Catholic Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
Wyandotte County prosecutors charged Rose A. Hammes, 52, with three counts of felony theft.
According to the allegations, the thefts occurred from 2010 to 2014 when she served as communications and planning director for the diocese.
Hammes is being held in the Wyandotte County Jail on a bond of $50,000.
